Availability
Many quarries offer blocks of up to 8’ feet in
length. Production of split and saw cut slabs,
and of paving blocks, is usually done at the
quarry sites; more complex fabrication can be
done overseas or in the US.
Except for a brief period in mid-winter when
most quarries are closed, finished materials
can be available in the US 6 to 8 weeks after
receipt of shop drawings.
